In Thai culture, “ไทร” (Sai) specifically refers to a type of tree. The term is commonly associated with various trees that hold cultural or religious significance. Thai culture places importance on trees for their beauty, shade, and sometimes as symbols of spirituality.

 

and “ทอง” (Tong) means “gold.” Together, “ไทรทอง” (SaiTong) means “Golden Tree” or “Tree of Gold.”
